82 TransAm w/Manual Cluster to 89 Formula Elect. Cluster (SUCCES)

I have a 1982 TransAm with cable speedo none electric cluster. I am
swapping in an 1989 Formula electric speedo cluster. As we all know there
doesn't seem to be any guidance on this here or any other board/website.
You will also need to have a VSS speed sensor on your tranny AND
the 'yellow' box near the ECM from the electric cluster car. Instructions
for the VSS and yellow box wiring can be found here.
http://www.hioutput.com/tech/speedo.html
Not shown is where the green/black speedo wire from the yellow box
goes on the cluster... it goes to L14 'lower connector position 14'

This shows how i moved the wires 'from --> to'. 'U' is for upper and
'L' is for lower connector.

How did you switch around the wires, did you splice them or did you just take the pins out of the harness to the cluster and move them accordingly?

I carefully moved the pins. There is no need to splice.
