My center console latch for my IROC somehow popped the little metal clips that act like springs and so I took off the console lid and seperated the leather top and the plastic bottom and the metal clips just fell out. I have NO IDEA how they fit back in there. I've looked for wear marks and scratchs from movement, nothnig. Nothing is broke from what I can see, but I have searched and googled to the ends of the earth and still can't find a diagram or a picture of how these things go back in!
Anybody got something they can post or PM me so I can get my lid back together?

There is only one piece in there its a spring shaped in an arched-like half circle with the curved part toward the front. After you push back to release the latch, the spring then pushes the **** back forward. Can occasionally find at the JY, or check vendors on here. I've got a couple somewhere, but pretty small and easily lost in too much stuff. Good luck
I've got the metal clips still, but there are two of them. One is slightly longer than the other. Where do they attach at? In the back of the sliding latch against the lid or somewhere in between? At least I have a direction now, knowing the curved end goes forward.
My bad. I looked at the "clips" again, and I see that it SHOULD be one clip. Mine broke in half. I looked right over the ragged edges on them. I'll get to looking for a new clip now. DAMN! LoL
