Rear defroster

Trying to add a rear defrost to my 1991 camaro. I just bought a whole hatch off craigslist for 35 bucks. The lines are all in good shape but the connectors on the sides are missing. Anybody know if these can be soldered back on to the two wire strips on the sides of the hatch???

Re: Rear defroster

Yes. they can be. they actually sell you kits to patch the rear window defoggers. It's actually a pretty easy straight forward fix.

Check online for it and I'm sure that you'll find some and for short money too. You can even use some aluminum foil to make the repair in a pinch. ( an old school trick ).

Let us know how you make out. *S*
