lock switches

can 4th gen lock switches be used in 3rd gens??

Sure - but going to require alot of fabbing. You could put in center console, but not in the door - the 4th gen switches are mounted in the armrest on a 4th gen, and we have solid armrests. I'd hit ebay and just get 3rd gen switches myself.

im doin the 4th gen swap. i cant make sense of the wiring diagram?
the door lock diagram is on page 39

i dont have either camaro wiring harness, i using a painless universal harness and it has power leads for the windows and lock. i got the windows to work but not sure if i can use the locks with this harness??
