Changing auto shifter
Hey people. Im thinking about changing the shift handle (auto) in my 85 TA. I have the "T" shaped one. I am not sure if it will be difficult but i would like to know if anyone else has done this. How did you do it and did the button perform the same. Also any suggestions on where to get a cool looking skull or other ****. Thanks.

Re: Changing auto shifter
the only auto shift handles i have seen are the grip style with button on top(comes in all kinds of colors), hand gun handle(pull trigger to shift), Grenade(squeeze to shift)
things like that
I personally don't like any of them because i think they are cheesy, but thats just me, back when i was 17/18 i thought they were cool but i never bought one just because i liked the stock shifter handle
I have changed my shift **** from the thirdgen plastic style to the 4th gen leather(the actual **** is about an inch longer down the shaft than the 3rd gen, but works fine still)

As far as I know you just pull the u clip, slide your handle off and push the t handle on, I think everything needed to make it operate is built in already, but I'm not positive as I replaced my third gen one with a fourth gen top button handle not the t-handle
