Rear hatch

Ok so my hatch pull down is in the down position. I replaced the relay in the console did not fix the problem. I'm getting power to the red/white wire. The motor makes no noise does not get hot, any ideas? I was thinking since its already in the down position is there a way to get the hatch to lock. I tryed closing the hatch but it doesnt want to lock and im affraid to slam it shut.

Re: Rear hatch

open the drivers side door and try to slam it for now but make sure the door is open it makes it esyer to close and puts less stress on the gate. you might have a bad switch in the console that is not engaging the motor.

Re: Rear hatch

There's another relay, in the rear behind the rear plastic interior - it's the Hatch Extend Relay - maybe it's bad. Check it - it's a part number D1703A from Advance Auto.
