Title says it all... my dd was a 92 Chevy S10 and was hit in the backside by a 2007 International straight truck... I'm ok and the little truck was totalled... good news it I bought it back for 100 bucks and used the money from insurance to replace a couple tires on the truck and made it drivable again... I had been wanting a B&M megashifter for about 8 years now but with kids certain expenses are not as important but my wife told me and I didn't give her a second chance that it was my money and I could spend it on whatever stupid idea I had for the truck or Trans Am which leads me to my upgrades


First was some new to me tires gave 50 bucks for a set of 215 65 15

Then it was time for for some good parts

well seems that I can't post photo's from my facebook to here but anyways I've got a good start on the Trans Am this spring... new battery, battery cutoff switch grant steering wheel and finally got my megashifter... all is installed and am ordering my weatherstrip kit from 1a auto next week... so after I get done painting the car again I'll have new weatherstripping for it...

 

pardon the stuff in the floorboards... haven't cleaned it up yet...

 

i always loved and wanted those shifters.

how does it shift? i heard its a little difficult in the begining

 

shifts great... just followed the instructions and everything works like a charm... its a difference between night and day driving the car with the new wheel and shifter...

 

i like the wheel how much was it and where did you get it?

 

I have the identical steering wheel, identical shifter, and I have a 92 S10! =)

 

love the steering wheel. ima get some one but the black one instead. it would match my interior better lol. its at kragen for like 60 bucks or sumthing like that

 

I grabbed mine either at Advanced Auto or on eBay..

 

I got the wheel at pep boys and got the shifter at performance products in knoxville, tn.. the shifter was close to 200 out the door and wheel was 65 with adapter

 

Good Taste I guess... lol....

 

I seen the Black one online but I heard a quote a few years ago I like... If it ain't chrome don't put it on... lol... I was just looking to brighten up the interior a bit...

 

That looks great dude. Its nice to see another 83 Recaro TA getting fixed up. Sorry about your s10 but it sounds like it all turned out for the best.
