It is stuck down, i traced it from switch to what must be the motor, looks like a pain to get at, will probably pay someone to do it. But is there a way i can get that window up manually somehow?

 

Not really...you might try banging on the motor with a hammer while pushing the switch. Sometimes they'll come back to life for a few seconds. The driver's side motor on my 02 would work for about 3 inches if you let it cool down for a few hours. Be careful with the hammer though for obvious reasons since the window is down.
