My Maroon 91 Firebird has a tan interior, of which I'm not a fan (besides the fact that it's faded and worn from being almost 20 years old). I had originally planned on just doing a swap of gray interior pieces and purchased a light-gray headliner, visors, and sail panels.

That started to seem boring to me, though, as soon as I came across the idea on this board that interior plastics could be painted. I began wanting to do something that would be fairly unique, rather than the standard factory colors.

Up until a few days ago I planned on doing a 2-tone (dark/light gray) scheme with the above mentioned items being light gray, the plastics being dark-gray and the seats being 2-tone. Then I thought about seatbelts...

The only real option for seatbelts is the standard gray or black, so I've totally reconsidered. Now I'm considering leaving the light gray pieces, but painting the plastics black, getting black carpet, and black or 2-tone seats.

Is there anyone who has done something like this, or might have recommendations to make it all look nice together? I don't want it to look like everything is black and the light gray pieces were an afterthought. Or is there something else that might look better that I haven't even considerered?
