Sun visor supports

I would like some input on where to buy visor supports. I have found about 3 places online with prices between 40 and $60 a pair. I was wondering if anyone has had experiences with any particular vendor and their quality. I dont want to make my decision solely on the price, so any input would be appreciated

Or you could get some good clean used black ones for $20 a pair from someone on here like me. Get me your email address for pics or other info, Henry

Re: Sun visor supports

ive tried used ones before from junk yards and not had luck with them. i might just prefer to buy new ones at this point and know they work, plus i just had a new headliner installed not long ago

OK, cool, just tossing it out there. Only problem I've ever had was when the shafts get loose in the mounts and won't hold the visors up. Remove, epoxy back in, problem solved, has always worked for me. As long as the paint finish is great they look and work like new

Re: Sun visor supports

the silver insert in the mount is spinning in my case. if i pull it out and add some jb weld wont that keep the sunvisor from rotating from the down position to the up position against the headliner?

No. The visor spins on the insert, the silver 'bullet-shaped' piece is stationary.
