Relocating switches?

My camaro never originally came with an electric hatch release switch, but I installed one myself. I want to keep my car looking factory to anybody that doesn't look for something out of place. Right now I ahve the switch mounted in the panel where the fog light switch would be and it's perfect because I can reach inside the window and hit it. But I've decided I want to move it somewhere easy to reach, but you can't see it.

I figured why not have everybody post where they may have moved any switched or added in their cars!

Inside of the ashtray could be another viable option. Given that you don't smoke in your thirdgen.. Of course you don't, right?

Re: Relocating switches?

i really like my switch located where it is. It's out of sight, can't be accidently triggered because you have to pull down on the switch to make it happen, and I can trigger it from either inside or outside of the car.
I had a third gen with it in the center console, and I can think of many times that I accidently triggered it while I was in the car (but the car was in park)
