Leaks everwhere

Today I tried adjusting my t tops to make them fit better so it wouldn't leak at all. Originally it only leaked on the passenger side and it wasn't that bad of a leak. I could put a towel in between the t top and the weatherstripping and it would leak.

So today I tried to fix the problem area. I adjusted both sides back and forth multiple times and tested with the hose after each adjustment and it made the leaking worse and now its on the driver side and in the middle of my dash.

I realize the best thing to do would be to get new weatherstriping for my car but I cant afford it at the moment. I was wondering if there were any alternative ideas to fixing it other than having to put towels all over my interior. Maybe try putting in new sealent?
