Automatic Shifter Plastic Movement Rod?
anyone know where to get one of these besides ebay? mine is broken and I can't use the shifter **** i just bought until I find one
i was hoping to find one locally but no luck at the salvage yards and I wouldn't think autozone or the chevy dealer would have any

Are you talking about the cream colored rod that goes down the shifter shaft to actuate the mechanism? I've got some spares. PM or email me your email address if you want pics or other info, Henry
What year? Early ball shifters have a flat rod while later ones have the round one with round bumps on it

yep thats what I'm talking about, mine is an 82, the broken one was flat but still had the round bumps throughout it
another question how does the shift **** actually attach to the metal shifting stick? i know it can attach to the movement rod but whats to keep me from just pulling it all out or turning the **** in circles
