Why are the weaterstrip expensive

Thirdgen weatherstrip is way expensive tan the first gen or secon gen???? There are kits from 100 bucks first and second gen and for our cars from 180?

Yeah. But weatherstripping is a comman part that goes bad on any car. It cost that much because they can. Wholesale they are probably 30 bucks a car

Yeah weatherstripping for our cars is stupid expensive, especially for those of us with t-tops Doesn't make sense for a rubber strip to cost so damn much, can get new tires cheaper than new weatherstripping...

I dont think its that expensive if you get the reproduction like from a1auto the complete kit for t tops, doors, trunk goes for $375 shipped thats a good deal i think.
