I bought this cluster is hopes that some how i will beable to take out my mechiancal 80mph cluster and put in this one. Does anyone know if it is possiable and what i would need to do this. I am hoping to get ride of that cluster because all it has is MPH and gas meter. If i find out there is nothing i can do with the cluster i will probley be selling.

 

Adding your car's year, make and model is helpful in answering nearly any question. For exampe, if your car is a Camaro, the speedo head, 82-89, is mechanical and those years are interchangeable. 90+ speedos are electric and won't swap, of course, with the earlier mechanicals. Swapping base clusters with idiot lights to clusters with actual gauges requires changing the senders.

I am sry i thought i put the make, its a 1985 firebird, if i can not swap clusters do you know how i can remove my current cluster and where i could buy a better one
