I'm wondering if there is anywhere one can purchase the "plastic" covers that hide the head of the bolts that attach the hinge to the rear hatch. Hopefully that makes sense. Mine are disintegrating and I'd like to do something to clean it up.

Re: 92 Z-28

Thanks, James. I just ordered. I'm assuming if I remove one at a time and replace, the rear hatch should stay in place. Since this is going through the glass, are you aware of the correct torque so I don't over tighten?

From my 85 Camaro shop manual: When installing bolts--glass to hinge--be sure to torque only to 11 ft. lb. Overtightening could cause breakage and possible personal injury. Always wear safety glasses during this operation.
