I have a 83 camaro that from factory was an automatic, but the previous owner converted it to a 5 speed. no performance stuff just a factory 5-speed. I wanted to add a little style to this and put the classic hurst cue ball **** on it (I know its overdone but it really fits this interior). Anyway, when I try to unscrew the ball off, the whole stick seems to unscrew from its base. Is this just a stubborn ball and I need to add some muscle to it to get it off, or, was the ball and stick one piece then? any kind of direction will be helpful.
