How do you remove the emergency brake handle?

How do you remove the emergency brake handle? I'm getting ready to send it in for recovering, but I'm not certain how it comes off. It looks like a rivet is holding it to the metal handle part. Do you drill out the rivet? Any idea what size bit to use so I don't damage anything? Also, how do you reinstall? A new rivet with a rivet gun? What size rivet?

Hmm, that turned into a lot more than 1 question there.

It's only held in place with one screw and then it slides right off.

You are most definately correct. I went back out there, pulled the handle up and actually looked in the hole with a flashlight. Philips head screwdriver. That's what I get for not actually looking closely enough into the hole. Simple then!
