T-Top Zipper Replacement
Im sure many of us T-Top owners have had or still have the problem of the nylon zipper "teeth" being damaged. Ususally these nylon "teeth" are broken or bent beyond repair that the "slider" will not lock the "teeth" when it slides over the damaged section. So Im on a quest to find out what is the best solution for a replacement zipper. There are a few options that must be considered such as zipper material. You can use either nylon, polyester, or metal. So Im shooting for a metal zipper type. My question for you is has any one ever replaced the whole zipper with a new one?

Re: T-Top Zipper Replacement
I was planning on it, and then I found a top bag for cheap either here or eBay. Best bet would probably be the metal zippers found on luggage as they are designed for a bit of pressure being applied (ever stuff your suitcase silly?). Don't know how much it would cost, either.

Well on mine, the zipper part was fine, but the threads that had it sewn to the bag had fallen apart. I took them to a clothing place that alters clothing and had them resewn with a HD sewing machine. No problems since. Think I paid like $25 to have it done.
