Help me identify the location of this T-top Headliner/Overhead console piece

When I removed my t-top headliner, a 'M' shaped cardboard/foam piece fell out. Now that I am re-installing the headliner, I need help finding out where to install this piece. Front and back photos below.

* Note * in case it makes a difference, I have the overhead console

Thanks in advance!

When I put in my new headliner last night I didn't see anything like that in the old one.

I just edited my post. I have the overhead console and perhaps it's part of that? Do you have an overhead console?

The reinforcement piece is only used on the coupe version of the overhead console. It goes in foam side up, "legs" to the rear. The round indentation on the left hand side in the second pic is made by the ground screw. The two larger indentations are from the roof line.

Interesting. My car came with this option, perhaps this was a replacement console that had the piece. I may as well use it since I have it. Thanks for the replies.

I got the console installed but didn't bother putting in the abovementioned piece as everything seemed fine when dry-fitting it. Thanks to those of you who replied to me.
