New Seats in a Third Gen?
New Seats in a Third Gen?
I am buying an 83 Camaro on Sunday, and I am so flipping excited!! I have wanted one since I was about 3 or 4.
Anyway, it's pretty stripped down and we need to get interior for it. My hubby suggested getting seats from a junk yard out of a new Camaro. Will they fit? Has anyone tried it?

Re: New Seats in a Third Gen?
When I got my Camaro the interior was flooded, and the seats and carpet were shot. I got some prefect rear seats from Craigslist, and I tryed out a set of corbeau seats for the front. I love them, provisions for harnesses bolsters are nice and they are pretty tight and comfortable. Not to mention they look good. Aside from name brand seats like recaro, bride, conbra, sparco...corbeau's are awsome quality for the price.

I have a set of ProCar Sportsman Pros in my Camaro and I really like them. Also probably cheaper than a decent used seat.
Word to the wise: Buy their car specific brackets. I didnt and it would have been well worth the $$$
