Quick Dash Gauge question!

Peeps,

So I have an 86' z28 and I only have the odomotor that has to the "85mph" only mark. I am looking for the one that goes to "145 mph".

Do I have do get a whole new dash or can I just replace the Odomotor itself? And do you have to recalibrate the new Gauge Odomotor to the car cause it still will see 85mph?

Thanks a ton!

Re: Quick Dash Gauge question!

If you're careful you can take out your stock odometer and put it in the new speedo. If that doesn't work, you can always spin it by hand until you get to the correct mileage. This takes a while, and some creative ingenuity, but it CAN be done very easily.

But judging by your post you mean to say speedometer, not odometer.

Changing speedo's is a plug and play operation. They are internally geared so nothing has to be changed.

Any mechanical speedo, 86-89, will swap in without issues. Since there are electrical gremlins in some cluster swaps, I'd recommend swapping the 145 speedo head into your current cluster.
