sup guys. i just swapped a 99 camaro dash into my 88 camaro. the guages, ive read that a 93-97 firebird guages will work. im assuming its not a direct plug in. the speedo on mine is cable driven. ive searched and searched but i cant find a answer i need to know asap if possible

The 93-97 cluster will go right in, but I am not sure about the wiring though. In the electronics section I believe, there are good wiring diagrams. Bascially, I would compare the 93-98 to the 99 and newer ones. As far as the speedo, you will need to either convert the mech speedo on the trans to a elec unit from a 89+ camaro or 88+firebird (not sure about the years, but close) or get a signal converter and dakota digital box (what I did) to convert the cable to a elec signal to make the speedo work. Its a little more money, but more versatile for gear or tire size changes.
