WTF is up with my trunk?
So when I bought my car over a year ago the PO had cut the little trunk piece that covers up the hatch motor and stuff in half revealing the bottom half of the motor. Today I was at the local yard and found one of those pieces with all the options that mine has except this one was in one piece. I go to put it in and these wierd braces (they look factory) are making it so I cant put it in because they stick out so far. Whats up with this? I can get pictures upon request.

The braces are probably for the cargo door option while the plastic panel is for a car with just an open storage well and no cover.
