Cargo shade material swap??

Cargo shade material swap??
We have 2 shades--
1 is black vinyl, the other is canvas.
The vinyl material is in fantastic condition, but it doesn't roll out or return very well & is missing a plastic end cover.
The canvas material is in good condition, works great, but is 1/2 faded from black to blue.
We like the vinyl shade, & wondering:
( 1 ) Can the material be swapped
( 2 ) Can the plastic pieces be swapped
( 3 ) If the plastic can swap, how do we adjust // fix the roll up to work?
