Anybody have any special tricks to get these things out? I've read the tech article on here but still can't seem to get it. My driver's side pulled right out but I have been in an epic battle with my passenger side. The thing won't budge.

 

You might try a small hook too or screwdriver to lift the tab and ease it out. I used a small hook tool on my vent to work the little tab loose.

 

a thin flathead screwdriver should do the trick. you'll want to put it in as centered as possible and it should allow you to push the tab in
