Transmission: Built 4L60E with 4k stall
Axle/Gears: 4th gen w/ 3.42 gears
4th gen dash
I been searching around but can't find anything
1) Didn't somebody start a thread of 4th gen interior swap pics? If so could somebody post a link, I can't find it.
2) I’ve seen plenty of people do the council with out the dash, but has anybody done a dash swap and left the 3rd gen council. I know alot of people like the 4th gen councils because they have cup holders. I don't let people eat or drink in my car so that not an issue. I wan't to keep the 3rd gen council because I have a b&m mega shifter and I really like the way it fits in the council and looks in the car.
Any info on either would be appreciated.

nope not a chance it'll fit, the 4th gen dash is much much deeper and that console doesn't have a shot, you'd have to cut the entire radio area if not into the shifter area, certainly the ash tray would be gone too. Not hard to fab the shifter into the 4th gen console with a little time and energy
