Interior overhaul!
Recently removed my carpet to check the interior floor condition, found some minor rust but not bad for an 86.
Tossed the original carpet after pressure washing and shampooing did no good.
Torn between new carpet or just doing bedliner like this guy did. I don't think there is anything stopping me from reinstalling new carpet down the line if I bedlined and changed my mind.
First I need to figure out how to scrape up the fuzzy glue crap. Any tips appreciated.
Sharing some pics and will update with progress. I reinstalled the seats and console for driving. I have my camo blazer, but I love the camaro too much to not drive it on nice days!

That looks pretty darn nice. As for the glue, when I did mine, I just kinda heated and scraped. I'm sure there are better ways of doing it but that worked for me.

Re: Interior overhaul!
Note for next time: keep the old carpet until you get your new carpet. It's a LOT easier to figure out where to cut holes for all the bolts (seats, seatbelts, center console, etc.) if you have the old carpet to lay on top of it and use it as a template.
If you do plan on putting carpet in it again, leaving the old insulation fuzz/related adhesive residue is not going to hurt anything. If you still want to get it off though, I'd try a solvent or an adhesive remover. 3M makes a pretty good one, but it's $20/can and usually only sold at auto body supply stores.
