how rare are these options
i was wondering how rare are the options on my car as i have never seen one with all of the same ........ split rear seats custom cloth interior stage 3 iroc t tops with overhead console 5 speed manual trans power drivers seat power antenna ers stereo with eq and 27k original miles (dark metallic blue ) the real kicker is out of all the shows ,meets and races i have been to in the ne area i have never seen one with 3 of the same being a manual trans car with split rear seats and power antenna ............. so i guess my real question is if there is a way of decoding production numbers of certain rpo's for a certain year (1987) for example and a way of combining rpos and finding out how many of (your) exact car were built over 25 years ago i remember a story my father told me years ago when he first bought my car new right b4 he passed away he custom ordered the car and the dealer manger was like wow thats going to be very rare one day but its all hear say till i can get some real numbers so please help me out if you guys can it will be greatly appreciated

PS, i am sure there were few f body's made with an engine block heater...does that make them rare? yes... desirable? not so much

Re: how rare are these options
you can find production numbers for individual options, but records weren't kept of what each individual car received, so looking up production numbers for specific combinations isn't possible. As Tonygxp suggested, it wouldn't make much difference if the information were available because even an uncommon combination of 5 options doesn't add value. It sounds like a nicely optioned car though and it has a great history being ordered by your father.
