87 Camaro door handle problem.
Anyone know why a door handle would stick out about an inch or two but still be functional?
It is a door handle on a 87 Chevy Camaro 2.8L V6
It sticks out 1-2".

It sounds like its about ready to break. The drivers side one did about the same thing on my son's before it broke. It could be that the rod inside the door or the latch is binding. The handle is easy to replace. I would take off the door panel and check everything over and lube all the moving parts.
