iv had my car for 4 years now and it seems like every year when i go to get in my car after its sat in the heat its gotten hotter, so what are some things i can do to try and keep the inside cool? i just went and bought a sun shade for the front window and i have 20% window tint so im hoping it will help now, im thinking of buying more shades or something to put on the rear and side windows to help but im in need of opinions

I also keep my windows open an inch or so but living in a one horse town makes that safer.

You can use a sunshade, rear louvers, crack your windows as stated and the TTop models you can use your inside covers. These cars are basically ovens.

Re: how to keep cool in the summer heat?

Besides the cracked open windows, you could try that little solar powered fan that fits on top of the window (crack the window, put it between the glass & roof, roll up window to "lock" it in place) and the fan will at least blow the hot air out so it will still get hot, just not as hot.
Like (and i'm not endorsing THIS one, just using it s an example...i know nothing about it or others) http://www.envirogadget.com/solar-po...ar-cooler-fan/

5% tint on the rear hatch and a good bit of tint on the sides helps from what I hear(haven't tinted mine yet).

if you have t-tops get some covers for them. I remember burning my butt and back when I sat down and had leather seats.

You could get two solar fans and have one blowing in and one blowing out.
