Rear view mirror fell off...

So I was moving the Trans Am today and the rear view mirror suddenly fell off. Could I use Gorilla Glue or would I have to use something stronger? Any recommendations? I was thinking JB Weld to make sure it wouldn't fall off again lol.

Go to the parts store & buy the correct stuff to hold to the glass & you'll be good for another +-20 years if you clean/prep/apply it right.

Re: Rear view mirror fell off...

I used the correct glue and it fell off again.
I went to an auto glass shop, they glued it on again and it fell off again.
They said the glass had become contaminated and I would need a new windshield. They put one in and it's been great ever since.
I had a small crack in the lower corner so I needed a new one anyway.

Re: Rear view mirror fell off...

I took some instant bonding adhesive from my job at Radio Shack. Dabbed a few drops on the metal, stuck it where it was, held for 10 seconds....good as new.
