Ever since I got my car I noticed that the end of my dash pad (closest to the driver) bounces up and down when I go over any kind of bump. All of the bolts underneath, and the 4 near the defroster appear to be tight. When I grab the dash pad and try to move it myself, it doesnt flop around like you might think. Its tight.

Any ideas of where to start? Id like to get to it before it starts to crack. Thanks.

Take all the screws out, pull the dash pad & look underneath. Make sure there is nothing under it that is holding it up & preventing it from "wedging" under the windshield like it is supposed to & put the screws back in.

Worst case? Pull the dash again & use some velcro under the dash pad to hold that corner down, with the screws in place of course.

Those can be seen in post #7 of the link below, but they seem to be a long way from the problem area.

On the far left and right side there are two main bolts for the dash itself, mine broke, "still broke" and causes the bounce, got some decent sized washers, bolted it down, not to tight to break whats left.

Gotta take the dash pad off to reach them thou!
