Is it worth it?

I'm looking at buying a 1991 Camaro Z28 and there were somethings that need to be fixed on the interior. It would need a new headliner, radio, and dashboard, because the whole dash is cracked. A radio is about $80, and I can get a dashpad overlay for $100. How much is a new headliner for a 91 Hardtop Camaro? And is the car even worth it if I need all of these parts? The asking price is $3000 so I could probably get them 20 $2300 to give me room to get those parts.

My car doesn't have a radio, headliner, or door panels and my dash pad is cracked but it still drives around fine

The 80 dollar radio is new. A stock one or Delco cd player from a salvage yard is 25 bucks. If your headliner is just droopy, there's cheap repairs explained in the forums using brand new fabric. Interior is arguably the easiest repairs on these cars. Be more worried about what may be lurking in the harness looms or underneath the car. Set aside 50 bucks to have a trusted mechanic look over the car; under the hood AND under the car. Had I done so, I would have been better prepared.

Sounds stupid and weird but if the headliner is just sagging, spray the sagging part with hairspray and either hold it in place or set up something to hold it in place. If it's ripped hit up classic industries in California. They would have everything you need.

BE CAREFUL removing the headliner, the cardboard backing has a tendency to be brittle and break. I'll check a few wrecking yards on the second of the month and see if I can see a good, cheap dashpad.just pay the part and shipping. I'm going there for a smog pump delete pulley anyways so it wouldn't be a special trip to look.
I'll just tell the wife I have a Dr's appointment. ( she says I spend too much time on my car. Well my daughter is in college so the car is my kid now)

The headliner would likely to be several hundred to fix at a shop. I recommend going ahead and getting the sail panels and visors recovered at the same time, that way it all matches.

If you're headliner board is shot, then you'd need to buy one of those abs headliner kits, they run around $300.
