Re: head liner

if you want one from an on line reseller then stockinteriors.com and 1A sell the same item. Just buy from whichever is cheaper including shipping

Re: head liner

Interior stuff like headliner material, carpets, seat covers etc. are mostly made by one repro manufacturer so it is the same thing just a different price from your preferred vendor. I've had nothing but great service from 1A. So even if my preferred vendor is 5% more $$ I'll still buy from them due to their superior customer service and product knowledge.

Another "Where can I buy the cheapest parts thread".

Why not just get it done correctly by an interior upholstery shop.

What if the backing needs to be replaced (water damage)? From what I understand, upholstery shops don't remake the backing... Then, pretty much, the only option is to get the kit.

Re: head liner

Well, if the only options are to reupholster the original or replace with the ABS, then why do so many ask where it can be done the cheapest? All options are similarly priced unless they buy the material and redo the liner themselves. In that case, why go the cheapest route? Buy the correct stuff and do the repair as professionally as you can within your ability. And, if you are going to get the material and do it yourself, why ask on an international forum where to get the stuff the cheapest? It's probably as close as the nearest JoAnn fabrics!
