Do you mean REAL leather, or a simulated leather? The CoverGirl makes the best ones I've seen, they look exactly like stock. She made mine, but mine are cloth.
I also have the abs hardtop headliner from Hawks. Mine is holding up good, but I have the overhead console to support it. I've heard others complain about sagging without the console.

Well I have t-tops so the middle sagging would be an issue.
When I say leather I mean the material that would have come on the car originally, so yeah I guess that would be simulated
The headliner? Dang I bet it was one of the 1st ones.. I've had it a looong time.
The headrests on my 3rdgen seats are leather as is most of the seat.
My wifes 98 T/A has leather/pleather seats and they are nothing like my 3rdgen seats. The quality of my 3rds are 1,000 times better. Her headrests and lower front and side panels are all pleather..
The leather/pleather is dring/shrinking like crazy on her seats and its nasty. Going to have to recover them in 100% real leather soon. $$$$
I think GM tried to save some money in the later years. You can tell the diff of the 2 materials in her seats a mile away..
I have some UltraLeather samples and it looks as good or better then leather that's in the Jag XKR-S!
it's some beautiful stuff!
These are some seats from my '95 Camaro that the Covergirl reupholstered in Ultraleather. If I didnt know I'd swear they were real leather. They even have that new leather feel.
these are the pleather from hawks they look and feel like leather, holding up very nicely.. the inserts are hampton vinal. i left the side pieces off i like the cleaner look
I've got an 88 GTA with Gray leather that's is toast. Anyone have theirs done recently, and have a link or recommendation for kits and/or an upholsterer? Willing to ship if the value and workmanship is great. Thanks.
We had these recovered with the Hampton Vinyl kit from Classic Industries a few weeks ago. I am SUPER happy with the quality. They look awesome and were only like $500. They have all the padding on the inside of them, carpet on the back of the rear seat back, etc. For the money, I'd say it's a great bang for the buck. These seats looked like Barent's before...
I have had mine for about 3 years.
It was made by ACME. I assume they are all made by one company?
Its holding up pretty good and better than looking at my old bare roof or a crumbling factory unit.
The ABS mousefur covered units aint too bad. The fit is sorta lousy with t-tops.
It saga a bit at the front but a couple of silver well placed trim screws with moulded washers cure that issue.
The "purists" and OE crowd usually bust in and carry on how bad they are and with the repair mantra!
I only paid $150 shipped and it looks better than my bare or crumbling factory unit.

How is the quality and feel of the Hampton Vinyl? There's a set of seats available on Hawks right now with Hampton that I am considering. It's either that or get mine recovered in real leather...

I am totally sold on the Hampton vinyl. They look absolutely awesome, and they feel great. They aren't as soft as leather, BUT they don't feel like boat seats, either, and the durability will be 10x better than leather. They are perforated like the original leather, the rear seat back has carpet just like oem, the inside of the vinyl has padding like oem leather, etc. The quality is superb. They are made as they are ordered, so it does take around 8 weeks to get them, but for how nice they are, I honestly can't believe they are so cheap price wise. I ordered these through Classic Industries. I really don't think anyone could be disappointed with these.....I really cant say enough good about them.
