Use what glue to recover headliner?

I am going to recover my headliner and bought some 3M 77 spray glue. I got it home and see it says on the back not for headliners! Can someone recommend something that will definitely work? Also I had a couple cracks in it and used some silver duct tape to fix it- so I am hoping there is a spray glue that will stick to that as well. Thank you in advance for the help!
