Re: 4th gen dash swap(heavy pics)

3rd gen a-pillars are going in when I can find a decent headliner.
Unfortunately I got rid of my 3rd gen hush panels a month or so ago and I'm considering buying them back if the gap on the passenger's side is as bad as the other.
I don't have the filler between the dash and the windshield yet... The one in the donor was smashed into dozens of pieces due to the sun and the front end crash and the car has since been crushed itself, and I have yet to find another. I think I might end up getting some plexiglass or something and making my own. Of course, it will be covered with vinyl. I still have to finish the plate that is where the air bag door used to be as well.

3rd gen a pillars wont work not nearly wide enough to meet up with the filler panel my dash cap broke three times couple of clamps and two tubes of epoxy fixed that. Also I would up using industrial strength velcro to hold it down so far its working hopefully it will last forever

Re: 4th gen dash swap(heavy pics)

I'm probably going to end up making the filler panel so I'm not concerned about the gap between the 4th gen panel and the pillar trims. Unfortunately, I was originally going to use my Bird dash so I got the pillar trims first, and then the plan changed to use the 93 dash so I'm kind of stuck with what I have. J/Ys are becoming more and more difficult around here... I can't even find a decent power steering pulley at the moment.
