Hi, I have always preferred the look of a radio on top and the AC controls on bottom. I'm wondering how I could get it done in my 89 Firebird Formula 305. Also, if its possible, would this restrict possible 2-din installation? I was looking at this product and considering asking the same company whom made it to manufacturer one in reverse (with AC on bottom and 2 Din on top)

The Second Link (First Picture) Shows a touchscreen HVAC controller! They unfortunately are not made for Third Gens However I was considering buying anyway and getting the measurements, then having that custom radio bezel company do it all for me

What do y'all think?

EDIT: The reason they don't sell them for third gens is; if you notice, they come ONLY with a kit FOR A SPECIFIC vehicle. No stand alone for the HVAC touchscreen is available, which can be seen in the first pic just above the 2 din touchscreen.

Can it be done? sure, with some money or work anything can be done.

How is it done? Custom fabing. no one makes a kit to do this, so it would be all custom work. I have seen it done in a camaro (in a thread about an "Awesome Center Console" which looked really nice) and I think he had to make some room to fit the radio. As far as which on top its all in what you like, some will like it, others wont. Id prefer to remove both and put a huge touch screen in there

my mind instantly says turn the bezel upside down, and just put them in the appropriate slots? i had a firebird and cant remember if the tabs that hold the bezel in will allow that
