i am going to the jy tomorrow. need to know if a camaro center console will fit in my bird.

 

From what i've read here, the answer is No. Not directly. You will have to remove the Camaro radio pod as well and use the firebird one.

There are people here that have done that swap. I think there are slight modifications to be done, but from what I understand, the 4th Gen Console, Dash and Door panels can be made to fit and look nice. I actually prefer the 3rd gen look though.

 

Try to find one in "interior for sale" section,you'll find one.

 

What these guys aren't telling you is that yes, you can get a Camaro console into your car. But it requires cutting. And you will also need the heater duct that goes into the console from the main heater module (2 screws under the dash).
