New headliner comes with the clips?
I just ripped out (gently) the old, fallen down, ripped up, mouse nest infested headliner and broke one of the little clips off...it looks like a white plastic clip with a metal base that was mounted into the backer board.
If I buy a new ABS plastic replacement, do they come with the mounting clips? Or do I even need them?
Hawks doesnt specify coming with any hardware.
Thanks.

no, they don't even have the retainers to slide the clips in (the metal part that cem off on yours, the white clip locks in there the metal clip is supposed to be secured to the headliner) along the front.

Interesting, thanks for the info.
So these aftermarket models, theyre ok to leave as-is, right? You don't have to cover them with fabric? I think Id rather just leave it plastic. Less dust collecting and easier to clean.

take those clips and put them in their slots and once the ABS liner is in place take a little amount of F-26 and put it on the tabs of the clips and press the liner against the clips.
once the F-26 sets up and cures those clips will be there until you want them off and even then it'll be an effort to remove them.
