RX8 seats in a third gen
RX8 seats in a third gen
I'm getting a deal on RX8 seats but I'm I am wondering how hard it would be to mod it to make them fit for if I can use my mounts that I have on the ordinal seats . Any advice would be great

Re: RX8 seats in a third gen
For the seats, you can really make just about anything fit. Easiest way is probably use the 3rd gen seat tracks, and adapt the RX seats to fit. Shouldnt be too hard...might even be able to get away with some new holes in the brackets, or maybe some tabs...worst case some welding.
Our 3rd gens, esp the passenger floors, have an odd floor pan. Starting with the stock brackets will get you in the ball park. If worse comes to worse, some aftermarket universal brackets could be used, but Ide think you could make em work.
Good luck and start posting pictures!!!

Re: RX8 seats in a third gen
so are you using the standard seat or the R3 Ricardo seats? on the RX from consul to edge of seat is 21" and on the Camaro is 22" from consul to lower seat-belt housing. How are you going to blend the RX consul and 3RD gen dash? or are you using the entire RX dash? the RX dash is 6" narrower? so what are your plans? curious minds want to know???
