Differences in 3rd gen interiors
Hey everyone, I know this might be a dumb question, but I tried to search and didn't come up with much. I am new to the 3rd gen Camaro world and am looking to buy my very first one as a little project car. I'm trying to decide on the year or groups of years I want to narrow my search. I already pretty much know all the exteior and motor changes from year to year, but I was wanting to know the interior changes that certain years have.
What years offered leather seats and does anyone have any pictures of examples? What were the differenes in the dashes, steering wheels, seats, door panels etc. from year to year? I would love to see more pictures of the brown/tan interior that was offered. Any help or just some pictures of OEM 3rd gen Camaro interiors would be GREATLY appreciated!

You'd be better off doing IMAGE searches. Gauges differ depending on year and model, as do steering wheels and shifter *****. Seat fabrics varied. With the exception of the final two years airbag steering wheels, all interior parts are pretty much interchangeable over the ten year period.

OK, since the differences in seats, gauges, etc. don't seem to be much in the 10 year 3rd generation Camaro period, I guess that won't help me narrow my options much. I know I want a 87-92 and after doing some research I have found that the Light Brown interior was offered for every model and exterior color except Medium Maui Blue and Gunmetal (gray). I would really like to see some pictures of this interior because it seems to be much more rare then the very common light gray interior.

But I fixed that...lol That steering wheel in both of my 91's looked horrible.
Dash instrument cluster was completely different as well.
