Plastic Trim, Part 2....

So I painted my interior plastics and while the quality is decent for the money I spent I am just not happy with the amount of plastic trim in this car. The amount of plastic GM uses in their vehicles has always been something of a wild hair up my you know what anyway. I have instead decided to cover the vast majority of trim plastic in the car with some nice black vinyl. Has anybody else done this? I know it's going to be expensive but I'm really trying to go for a "modern" third gen interior.

There is a thread by a member who put black vinyl on the plastic parts.

Might take some reading with the "search" feature to find.

The factory "deluxe interior" option, had carpet covering the plastic panels.

Re: Plastic Trim, Part 2....

this is something i really want to do. I think it was SpikeZ that started working on it, but after a few days the vinyl started to peel off the plastic. My car is currently about 600 miles away from me or else I'd start on it myself, but if you do it I'd love to see pictures and know what adhesive you end up using
