For a swap out of the 84 panel to an 86+ panel, what should be considered? I think the later ones had the electronic speedo....is this a fairly easy bolt on operation?

Re: 84 instrument cluster to a 86-92 instrument cluster

i own and 84 and swapped it for an 86 240KM/H speedo i got from an iroc. it was basically take out and put in..... there should be a step by step thread for this, its not overly hard just time consuming!

HINT* dont forget to discount the speedo cable from the firewall to get the slack you need to plug it back in during install- it stumped me until my dad got home to help me
