Craigslist Disappointment with a mint dashpad
Well I thougt I got a good deal buying a mint dash pad through a buddy about a 4hr drive away. Anyway I just got it today and it's in great shape but one problem, It's not a camaro dashpad its for a trans am. I guess I will be selling a Trans Am dashpad soon. Sucks

Did they advertise,will fit a Camaro or Firebird?? I've seen some ads on Ebay that state that.

Sorry to hear you didn't get what you needed. You have to be really careful to do your research when buying cars/parts and not trust that any sellers know their stuff when it comes to what they're selling. Far too often they go on assumptions or misinformation they've received and state it confidently as if it were fact.

this might sound stupid, but it's a tribute to all you "know it all" guys here (and I say "know it all" in the good sense of the word). It seems more times than not that before I do **anything** in regards to my car (an 89 IROC) I always check with the people in this forum. Here I thought I knew it all when it came to my car seeing as I've had 10 of them in my lifetime, then WAM! I find out something new and it just blows me away how much knowledge comes from the members of this site.. I'm proud to be associated with you guys.. for example, I'm selling a mint dash pad to a member here on this site and he tells me "what speaker grills does it have..?" Did everyone know there are 2 styles of speaker vents on our dash pads but me..?????? Stone

Have any pics of the differences,or is this a 82-84 difference like the FB were different dash pad design's than the later years.

These are Camaro pads, they have the area in the middle for the ac vents.. Stone
