Interchangeable or not??
Im pretty sure it is since they almost look identical in dimensions, is a third gen camaro automatic shifter interchangeable with a fourth gen shift ****?

I'd be very surprised if they weren't the same as they look exactly the same (at least from 1987-02 -- earlier cars had the round **** that always broke at the top and sat on top of the console afterwards). FWIW, 1984-96 Corvette shifters look to be interchangeable with our cars as well.
