Speedhut triple pilar pod
Ive read countless threads on the autometer triple pod and the horrible fitment issues. So I decided to go with the speedhut pilar and..I like it.I dont have it mounted yet but I can say it hugs the factory piece nicely. The bottom pod does rest on the dashpad if you line up the pilars correctly but can be spaced up if you like. It comes with black plastic push clips and requires you to drill holes into both pieces to mount them together..im going to opt for a velcro approach since it fits nicely already and not ruin the clean no screw/holes look.
Im Going to be using 2 a/f gauges and a vac/boost gauge and its tight fit with 2 1/6 gauges so i dont think any extra mounting in the pods are needed.Took a bit of pressure just to test fit them lol.
The monster tach I already made a bracket for from my last car to put in that spot, wiring up the shift light in the factory shift light indicator..I dont like that big bright unit it comes with.

Re: Speedhut triple pilar pod
I have the speed hut dual gauge pillar and it also fits well. I used mine for a small tachometer in the top hole and in the bottom hole i made an inlay that houses four LEDs. One set on at 5000rpm another set at 6000 rpm. This way during AutoX or just driving I never have to glance down and the lights give me a staged warning in case I don't pay attention to the tach. I'll post a pic later as I am also happy with the Speedhut dual gauge pillar.
