Door Panel Stud transference

Hi,

I recently bought a used set of door panels to replace the old ones following a new paint job. How do I transfer the old mounting studs from the old door panel to the new one which is missing about half of them?

Is there a way to remove then from the old panel without destroying it or should I buy new studs from Hawks?

Thanks!

Those "xmas tree" studs screw into holes in the door panel, kind of a 1/4 turn deal IIRC.

You should be able to find them at your local auto parts store.

Re: Door Panel Stud transference

Thanks. I got a pair of needle nose and was able to turn the old studs out of the old door panel and insert them into the new (new to me anyway) door panel. The new black panels look puuuuuurdy against the new red paint. :-)
