some dash gauges dont work help!!!!

some dash gauges dont work help!!!!

hi everyone new member to this site.im working on my 89 Camaro rs & I got everything else done but the dash.thecollant temp,oil pressure,fuel gauge don't work .I turn the key on & they twitch,im not sure whats up!!!trying to figure out the two plugs in the back of the instrument cluster to try & fix or wire them up direct.some help would be appreciated.kinda intimmitated by all the wires together.

I doubt this is your solution, but with my gauges there is a wiring harness with clips on both sides behind the tachometer and if that thing isn't fully seated and clipped in, the gauges on the left ( fuel, battery, tach, temp, and oil) will twitch at first turn of the ignition and whenever you press a little on the cluster shell and plastic cover. I swapped a speedo and disconnected that harness on accident, spent a good 20 mins in panic checking fuses and wires before I realized it was the right side not clipped all the way. Good luck!!
